Hackers could take control of your Apple gadgets unless you update them NOW

Apple has released a series of updates for several of its devices which plug security holes which could let hackers seize control of them.

The tech giant has just published urgent new software for iPhone and iPad as well as Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac computers.

It has also released new versions of Safari and iCloud for Windows.

Unless you install them immediately, cyber-crooks could do very bad things to your system.

The US National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center called on all users to immediately install the updates and wrote: ‘Apple has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in multiple products.

‘A remote attacker could exploit some of these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected system.’

The scariest vulnerabilities affect Mac computers and iPhones.

If you don’t install the updates, it could be possible for hackers to take over the system which powers the devices.

Apple has also quashed a vulnerability in Apple iOS for iPhone and iPad which could let hackers ‘initiate FaceTime calls’.

You can find out about all the updates on Apple’s support page.
