Caroline Kennedy and her son, Jack Schlossberg, will give the prize on May 22, 2022, at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston, Massachusetts.

The late president’s family established the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award to honor public figures who risk their careers by supporting controversial causes for the greater good. It is named after Kennedy’s 1957 Pulitzer Prize-winning book “Profiles in Courage.”

The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is titled after his bravery in defending the Ukrainian people during the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
