  • Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST), according to Aditya Thackeray, is India’s first fully digital bus service.

  • All ten buses on this route will be equipped with this technology in a matter of days, and it will eventually be expanded to all 438 ways.

  • This is the country’s first-ever 100 percent digital bus service, according to Lokesh Chandra, BEST’s General Manager (GM), to increase the digitalization of the bus ticketing system.

  • Travelers can tap in using their smart card or the ‘Chalo’ app on their telephones, providing comfort and ease.

  • The tourist will obtain a receipt on their phone if they tap out using the app, and they will be able to collect their ticket if they use the smart card.
